Unang Hirit (literally First Response or First Strike in Filipino) is a Philippine morning news and talk show aired every weekday morning by GMA Network. Previously, it is aired weekdays at 5:15 to 8:30 AM (PST) then on September 19, 2011, the show started airing from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM, But as of March 13, 2014, the show cut its time into 2 hours & 30 minutes, to give extension of GMA's Anime block "Astig Authority". It is also aired internationally thru GMA Pinoy TV at various times.
